Yoohoo!! my first blog entry using my new laptop!! muahaha.. man.. it has been a long wait and i'm so so happy that i finally got it. =)

Anyway, yesterday was really a great day. Not only i got my laptop, elvin gave me flowers!! haha.. no occasion. Just surprise loh.. Really happy. =)

Also, i went to esther's house to set up my laptop then chatted with auntie Jenny and esther. It was rather pleasant i guess.. Praise God for the improvements.. =) Auntie Jenny was like saying i have to be supportive of elvin when he goes over to Region E. Keep him in prayers and trust him. =) haha.. cos region E is mainly made up of female youths. haha.. =P But anyhow, i really am very happy for elvin.. It's such a great opportunity for him and it's really in God's timing and plan.. =)
Oh ya! so after that we watched project superstar together and had a very good laugh. heh.. =) And all these happened without elvin around! =)
After that we went to meet Chris and Jason for a drink. heh.. have been hanging out with them really often. Wednesday we went Dan Ryan's for dinner then headed to BTP to play pool. haha.. it surely was fun!!!!! We played 9balls and i actually won jason and Chris!! muahaha.. not cos i'm good it's just because they didn't hit in the last ball and i didn't hit in any balls before that. haha.. Elvin even won Darryl! we just laughed like mad la.
Funniest was when we switched to everyone playing together, each taking 3 balls and have to eliminate others by hitting theirs. we were luring each other to hit others' and i was begging everyone to not hit mine! haha.. After that i went home while the others went to bowl and elvin only reached home at 7am! =)
Anyhow, all these hanging out with Chris is NOT satisfying enough for us because he is leaving TMR! can't stand the idea or even the thought of it.. But it's reality.. it's just tmr. TMR. TOMORROW. T.O.M.O.R.R.O.W. -SOB-

this is Chris...

I've been in school since 9am and still here at 6pm!! CLEAR club meeting at 6:30pm when i ended sch at 2:30pm.
Anyway, it's a day full of International Phonetic Alphebets, IPA in short. First was the Chinese version then the English version. Frankly, though they are supposed to be the same, they are disgustingly DIFFERENT. man.. i spent the last one and a half hour in the lib cafe solving them.. gonna be tested on how to translate hanyu pinyin to that too.. Just have to practice more i guess..
Have been trying to get more on track with stuff and spending more time revising. Guess today was rather successful. heh.. My sis say i should stop hanging out with elvin cos he's a bad influence. haha.. only one reason why. That's because he's too SMART! haha.. elvin doesn't need to mug like normal pple cos he's really fast in understanding and absorbing information. Seriously, before i enter uni, just judging by what i observe of elvin (also a uni student), I REALLY thought it's gonna be easy with lotsa free time to hang out or do my own things. BUT it's NOT true. Maybe it's just NIE. EVERYONE here mug because with straight C+, you'll get a warning letter. 3 warning letters, you are outta here. AND it's considered your fault cos yoy didn't study so you pay them the liquidity damages which is abt S$100k. So everyone is freaking out. To get a third class honours, you already have to get stinking Bs. Let alone a first class or second upper. Only one thing to say and that is I HAVE BEEN DECEIVED!
Back with the unfinished post, yup, I cannot stand the thought that Chris IS leaving. Elvin and I were chatting that day and he said he'll definitely cry when Chris leaves.. I think i would too.. Esp when that day, I showed John the Sydney photos.. Man.. those were the best days of my life! =) The best company I've ever had on a trip. (for the record, suckiest was TURKEY) Meeting Chris with elvin and Jason tmr and I sure hope he can suddenly say "I'm not going anymore!" haha.. kinda impossible though. =)
Think it's time for me to go. 6.10pm. Haven't crapped the entire day.
Oh ya, mum's going israel tmr. Man.. i also wanna go!!!! So cool to see and experience the places in the bible.. But too many trips i wanna go but no cash. haha.. Dad just ask if i wanna go China in Oct. Hopefully there's a break. lalala.. =)

John is back. =)Heh.. it was his birthday yesterday and i'm so glad we were able to celebrate for him. i love celebrating birthday for my love ones. This month i celebrated for sis, esther foong and john. =) Next one will be in Sept which is my elder bro's bday. heh.. cool!! =)
Oh ya! talking abt birthdays. I just realised wei siang is the second one in our region which has the same birthdate as me!! haha.. sheena is 23rd Nov also!! =)
Daniel has left for Canada already.. He was a great net member. friendly, open, nice, funny, etc. =) I'm so gonna miss him!! sob.. I really dislike parting.. AND
Chris is also leaving next week.. i just cannot bear the idea that he won't be around. He has been a blessing. Elvin and i really love him lots!! =)
opps.. elvin's calling and i just realised it's very late and i have early morning lect tmr. =)

Haven't blog for really long!! Just a brief update. I'm currently in NIE (thank God) and is offered Chinese specialisation as a major. Very miraculous and I am really thankful to God for all these. =)
Man.. I'm so full right now. Ate buffet with joel, joash, elvin and esther just now. No more these sorta things! fats... accumulate... Then we went to shop around the guys' clothes for banquet tonight. Good la.. I really love them. Joel, des, joash, esther, sheena, QX and many more..
Now that wilson is back with wendy and in our region's youth ministry, i'm really excited to see more changes as we unite and bring youth ministry to a higher level. I really think we are very well equipped. Colleen is very good with administrative matters, sheena is talented with Drama, many are very good with communicating, charasmatic and inclusive like QX and weiling. Fabian, joel and joash can come up with great ideas for activities! With Elvin and Wilson, I believe it will be a season of change!! =)
Heh.. k la.. i have to go do hmwk la. BUT before that, i have to say... HILLSONG CONFERENCE ROCKS! =)
Oh ya, knowing celine, joleen, chris, aaron and jason better during the trip is a fabulous bonus! =)

Results are out. though not fantastic, i'm contented with it. It's really God's grace. =) Applied for NUS Business and NIE. Really hope i can get into NIE... Do keep me in prayers eh? =)

Went Turkey for holidays two weeks ago. ALONE but with a tour group.. Frankly, it's really better to go with friends or family.. It was such a boring trip.. It's a tour group full of tai tais.. The way they shopped and force the tour guide to bring us to more places and bazaars to shop was really an eye opener. One leather jacket priced from US$800-US$2000. Cannot take it.

But i'll have to say God really showed favour.. The aunties really think highly of Christians although they are very devoted buddhist.. They keep saying that Christians are very li hai and very nice and compassionate pple.. cos Christian always have their ways to talk drug addicts, gamblers or those whom the society has given up to turn back and be good.. And i've got aunties visiting my room to chat with me about parenting and how they should handle their children till late night.. i became a parenting counsellor. Reason being they heard that i taught before and Christians are good at counselling.. but thank God la. =)

Celebrated Jason Oon's birthday after edge. He was so happy! it was a surprise party and there was near 50pple. However, i'll have to say Jason really quite blur.. there were so many times we nearly gave it away like when distributing invitation or coordinating the youths to act or write the card. BUT, like elvin said, he has never seen jason smiled so happily before.. I'm happy for him too!! Glad that I was able to contribute a lil to my Net Leader's birthday. =)

Everyone, i'm very broke!! gonna be eating air soon.. so if u guys wanna invite anyone for food, pls always remember elvin and i. Pls dun be too enthusiastic about helping us slim down.. Feed us... heh. =)

Ok, i'm back. At the request of Joyce! grr... hahha.. no la. The only reason why i'm here blogger at 9:53am is because, i'm at home and why am i at home when i should be working, you ask, it's because i've QUITTED my job! muahaha... You have no idea how relieved and happy i am... =)

Anyhow, this whole month of intensive work is definitely a great experience.. No i'd say teachers have NO LIFE! Wake up early to go to school, work and teach your butt off until 5:30pm, can't even have appetite for dinner then once u're home, you shart reading and preparing the next day's lesson. Basically, it is a 24hrs job cos my sis say the content of my sleeptalk was actually phrases like, "Do you understand?" hahaha..

The condition of my back also deteriorated cos of constant standing.. So now, i can't bend or turn my body.. Today going for my review. Man.. i have a body of a 40yr old.. =( Some said that shouldn't be that tiring cos have breaks and lesson i dun teach. That's all FALSE! First, we dun have a staff room or a resting place and so during our pathetic 30min break, we're stuck in the classroom i.e have to answer students' questions or chat with them.. Second, we teach WHOLE DAY. 7hrs of constant talking with 1hr lunch break in btw that are normally eaten up by staff meetings or delayed dismissal of class and 15min before next class start, i must start next class. So 15min cut in the beginning and 15min cut before end of break, leaves me with only 30min of lunch break. 10min for food to serve, 20 for gobbling.

Frankly, how to stay in this kinda job? Ok.. though i really love and miss my students... but i invited them for edge this sat. So, do keep them in prayers ya? =)

Anyway, now that i'm free, not really free cos i'll be going back to msia to help mum in her kindergarden and get my driving license.. ok.. I know i have been procrastinating this for real long but since elvin is the king of procrastinators,it's only reasonable that i'm the queen! muahaha... =) Dun worry, i'm determined to get it this time so when u guys come by, i can drive u around. =)

Man... John has been gone for near 1 mth. Really miss him lots. Am glad he's still coping well and most importantly, working hard.. dun chat online too much ah, di!

Visited University of Canberra in Spore. Really interested in their course and their foreign study program is rather good and most importantly, the cert is recognised and even YJC has started their business course for the yr2 students and SP also has affiliation to UC. Credibility wise, ok!!! =)

Ok.. this entry is getting too long. hehe.. BUT this should stay here for quite a long while... =)
