Although i'm really tired and sleepy now, i still wanna blog! Really enjoyed myself thoroughly today.. Never knew birthday can be this fun! =) So, today is my 20th birthday. the BIG "2". haha.. =)
Started off the day with coaching which was definitely a very good experience cos today we had a friendly match with AMK and they are good. Lost quite badly but i think it was due to that my girls are too scared of them. hai.. gotta work on that sia.. =)
After that went to Settler's cafe to meet my classmates. It's quite a cool place with lotsa cool games like boardgames or cards which are not those common types. The waiters were also very nice as in they'll recommend different games and teach us how to play them. However, what we enjoyed most was still our own game- Name game! We were screaming and shouting so loudly la. U should see how joyce, xiao wei and arrisa screams. i was nearly deaf la!! =)

However, what made the day really special and memorable was the surprise elvin planned! =) He told me we are just gonna eat at NYDC alone. just two of us. BUT i sorta expected him to secretly invite pple cos it's kinda obvious la.. =) So i went in and saw Ruixiong, Ren Min, weiling, joash, joel, joy, wilson, wendy, jidi, esther foong and my sis. This part still within my guessing. then i was sitting there chatting with them when SUDDENLY, i looked up and saw ALL my classmates walked in!! Man.. I was so SHOCKED. These pple ah still put up a show to trick me la!! asking each other where they'll be going then ask me to leave first cos different routes. haha.. =) So when they walked in, i was really surprised and happy. =)So we had fun just eating and talking. =)

These are my favourite.. ruixiong made this magazine type of card for pple to fill in bday wishes and it has so many of my pictures! he even specially signed up webshots to download my pictures.. =) He's such a nice boy la! =)
The black book is actually a notebook made by esther foong.. I was nearly moved to tears as i read it.. Other than birthday greetings in the front few pages, she made sections to the book like prayer pleases, testimonies, my 12, fever, rheme, walking with Jesus. I was touched cos it is rare of pple to be so concern abt one's spiritual growth and excitment and concern shown towards a friend's growth in the Lord and I'm definitely one very blessed person to have esther as a convenant friend. =)

Man.. I'm so so so tired BUT happy! Exams are over, the fever poster is more or less done, mum's kindergarten's graduation also over, NO MORE LATE NIGHTS and EARLY MORNINGS! =) Ok.. FINE i'm still online now. haha.. =)
Anyway, was so touched at today's graduation ceremony. The kids are so cute and innocent. What have we been missing out in these kids? Will try to get my hands on some photos to show u guys. Didn't take any cos was too busy running around walkie talkie-ing pple and settling stuff throughout. =)

Alright.. yesterday marked my FINAL presentation for this semester and u have no idea how happy i am. It has been so torturous attending THIS morning lect. It starts at stinking 8.30am BUT u better be there early cos if not the lecturer will give u a good long stare to make u really guilty ALTHOUGH u reached at 8.20am. Ask any uni student, WHO ACTUALLY COMES ON TIME FOR SUCH AN EARLY LECT?! but my tutorial group did. Just cos she marks attendance ONLY at the beginning of lect. Not there, u're DEAD. To make things WORSE, this is a 3-HOURS lect. I dunno where she finds her energy to talk THAT long(at least 50yrs old) but she gives NO break. So u dun get to get a breather AT ALL. But the worse part is still: SHE REPEATS THE EXAMPLES, STORIES, JOKES WEEK AFTER WEEK. and SHE CAME UP WITH THIS VOTING SYSTEM OF WHICH U CAN GIVE UR GROUPMATES A FAILING GRADE IF HE/SHE CONTRIBUTES THE LEAST. hai.. just so glad it's OVER. =)
Anyway, just have to finish one last 3000 word essay then i can start studying for exams le. =)

Went out with elvin yesterday after a long while cos both of us are either busy with sch or ministry. Didn't do much. We went to pick up my A'levels cert at SA (dun ask me only NOW then i collect it.) and had a drink with joel in sch. This boy is REALLY studying and i'm really glad for him. Showed him my cert and told him that's the result if he doesn;t work hard enough. heh. =) Then we headed down to ChinaSquare to fix my oakley and to have lunch. Man.. the pork rib curry is STINKING good. =) Elvin had fish curry though. equally delicious. =) Then we head back to WM to meet the youths to watch FLIGHT PLAN. it is a really nice show. worth watching. =)

Talking abt elvin, i'm still thankful that God sent him into my life.. One and a half year already. So fast.. Joash was saying it only felt like a few mths. haha.. cos nothing changed. =) Whenever I'm happy, I just wanna share with him. Whenever i'm down, he's always there. Every night when we pray together, it just totally brought us closer together. I enjoyed the part when we pray for the youths the most.. We were brought together by God with the same passion for youths. Dunno how to explain how good it feels when u know clearly that ur future is confirmed and ordained by God specially and even who will be in that future. It always makes us excited all over again when we talked abt how we can do this or that in the ministry or for the youths individually. =) All I can say is.. there's really no hurry to get into a relationship unless God is the one choosing for u. It's definitely the BEST. Confirmed plus stamped. Elvin is the BEST. hehe.. (puke all u want but u know he's the best. =) Who sacrifices at being laughed at when the preacher needed a demonstrator? Who is the one who never say "no" when pple need help? Who totally doesn't care abt looking stupid or not being able to be the high-class undergrad image that many portray, just so the youths will feel comfortable or that the preacher will not feel embarrassed? Who likes to do weird games before edge and get blamed at after? Come on.. I'm not even sure if i could.. but i think i'm doing it more often now.. Elvin's influence i guess. haha.. =) )

All in all i'm just THANKFUL. Thank you, God..

I bought elvin a diesel bag and key chains! i always allocate some money for bday presents or disposable cash for every mth so this mth's has been DEPLETED. haha.. =)

Yoohoo! =) Definitely had a fun time yesterday. Went for Jocelyn's 21st bday party at some poshy 64th storey bar in republic plaza. =) Dress code was formal so it was really fun to dress up. haha.. Credits to Esther Foong for kindly lending me her clothes cos it was too rush for me to get anything cos party slipped my mind as i was busy with sch work.. =( As the bar only admits 18years old and above and the dress code has to be formal, people who were there last night were the old pple from our youth ministry. haha.. FINE, including myself. =)

These two weeks were really hectic for me.. Other than to prepare for 2 presentations and an extra long essay!! Also an emotion roller coaster. =(
However, really saw God's hand of protection, embracement of encouragement and love. =)I guess it's always when we really run out of ideas or solutions or are desperate then we get closer to God.. But the thing is, is there a need to go through all that? What i've learnt AGAIN(hai..) is that God is really our only source of comfort and strength.. He REALLY never fails.. =)
Anyhow, just wanna update on JOASH's BIRTHDAY! haha.. I went out to meet some of the youths at WM halfway through my essay. =P here goes..

Joash is really a dearie. He has never failed to ask where I am when he doesn't see me in service. He is encouraging. He remembers what people say and takes heart into smsing to ask and encourage. =) Wonderful brother in Christ. =)

One of my presentation is on a poem by 卞之琳。It is a poem about 暗恋和单恋。 only four lines. =)
