Mother's Day on Sunday was a SUCCESS!

We wrapped near 218 mini cookie hampers. =)

Many thanks to the WHOLE region F YOUTH MINISTRY for distributing the cookie hampers and made the mothers so happy! =)

Really proud of all the youths.. Some even dressed up for the occasion cos I told them it's important to leave a good impression for the adults. So cute! Esther Chong wore a floral dress! hahaha.. =) The youths were so smiley, giving the mothers hugs and blessing them. it was such a sweet sight! Special thanks to Jadon and Huimin for reading the poem on behalf of the ministry in Eng and Chinese cong respectively. =) I've got feedbacks from some mothers that they were touched to tears. One adult sister took one packet of cookies back for her mother and her mother was very touched. She msged specially to say it's a blessing to have youths in the region. =)

i have been wanting to blog consistently but i always end up thinking what i wanna blog in my mind then after that i got lazy and felt that i've blogged already. hahaha.. weird eh? Oh ya! talking about weird.. i haven't done the "6 weird things" task Jonathan gave! opps. =)

Anyway, John came by on Monday and Tues with his 3 KL friends. my.. they are so cute! hahaha.. the two girls were so sweet and i like them LOTS! They can't speak mandarin but only Eng and Cantonese. AND i can't speak cantonese. hahaha.. but it's so funny how they called me
er-jie er-jie" in like an ang moh accent. hahaha.. =) Kwee, the only boy, is so funny too.. he's so engrossed in shopping limited edition shoes! then the first thing he did when we got home, was going online to check whether it's really real and how much he can sell it for. He was so quiet in the whole process that when we chatted or what, he totally said nothing. so funny! =)
John and I slept together at night then when we woke up, we just laid on the bed and chatted. i miss John so much! I love you, di di! hahaha.. =) When they had to leave, I was really quite sad.. WAIL!! =(
After that brought Es to see doc. This girl ah, really wanna scold her sia. Cannot take care of herself one. tsk tsk tsk. Anyway, we got distracted after that at the BEGA sale and we were stuck there for so long! haha.. bought 2 skirts and 2 tops for attachment cos dun really like to wear pants when at work. So warm can! all the primary schs dun have air con classroom ma. but personally, i prefer jeans and pants and berms and shorts more than skirts generally. =)

Yesterday after net, went to pasar malam with Es. Man.. we feel like aunties cos we really shopped there! until we went to withdraw money twice at the atm! hahaha.. bought a bag, a pair of jello shoes, 2 masks (spiderman n batman), 12 sets of stickers (for frens and students) and we ate so much! hahaha.. Really enjoyed the night. hahaha.. =)

Anyway, all of you who are reading this entry, pls read the following one and be nice to your mother! hahaha... =)

The finishing line seems to be moving away from me.

Where is it going?

Some even tripped me..

At first I can still pick myself up and run again.

Now, it's getting more and more painful each time i fall

Haven't blog for quite a long while. but i'm REALLY busy la. glad that now is study break and i can finally start catching up with sch work and revise for exams. =)

Anyway, represented MOE and played the Public Service Netball Tournament. It was SO fun! haha.. We got third in the end. 1st runner up was also MOE. But we didn't get champion. =( In case you thought it's quite an easy competition, you're wrong. I thought I would be playing with some aunties then sure win one BUT i think i was an old grandma compare to them cos they were SUPER fit! goodness.. there was this auntie who's about 50+. She is a cross country runner! She played attack and I played defence AND I was panting like a dog and she's still prettily composed and breathing normally. haha.. What's even more amazing is during intervals, she took out her mini dumb bells and started toning her arms! *faint*

Other than grasping for air most of the time, I'm really impressed by MOE's concern over the teachers' welfare. =) The moment we reached the venue, we were each given $10 for transportation costs. Then they gave us 2 jerseys, a duffle bag, a back pack, a shower bag, 3 pairs of socks, a head band and 2 wrist bands. When we won, we each got $25 bucks plus medal. Cool! =)

Ok, two wks after the matches, I SPRAINED MY ANKLE! haha.. I fell down on the stairs. Missed TWO stinking steps. Dun laugh. RAHH! Although it was quite scary and painful, it was a blessing in disguise ba. Hahaha.. cos after going to the sensei and having my left foot bandaged, walking was painful and I was limping. AND.... elvin piggy back me from bus stop to my block! hahaha.. It was not easy k! Ask adeline and you'll know how she hated me when we had to train out thigh muscles by piggy backing each other! hahaha.. Cos I AM VERY HEAVY! heavier than MANY guys. hahaha.. =) I must say it's quite a sweet experience. haha.. =)

Yup, this woman is going East Timor, Lautem, with sis Lily, bro boyle and sis ann. I am missing her already. Nearly everytime we talked on the phone when sis was in training, we'll cry.. She's a very important person in my life... We xiang yi wei ming in Spore all these yrs when everyone in the family was going back to msia.. And now she's leaving me too.. for a year! *sobz*

Went for sis's graduation yesterday and today my whole family came from msia to show support cos church was praying for her team. Haha.. pastor andrew actually welcomed my family! haha.. The last time we appeared in church together as a family was like when I was sec 4? so that's about 4-5yrs ago! haha.. =) I love my family so much.. *wail* I miss my sis! ok.. she's actually like just next door now actually. hahaha.. Can't imagine what's gonna happen on Thurs when she flies off... NOOOOOO!!!

Ok.. I gotta go off le. Gideonite cannot be late for service. Hope pastor rick won't hint me to go again today. hahaha.. I will go! just not now since i'm bonded. ha. =)

Frankly, wanna thank many of you who have been so supportive and to date we've sold 8 pairs and 5 more orders came in just 2days ago! praise God. =) Although we're not earning a lot (as compare to many other shops who sell handcrafted shoes who charge from $25 onwards.), esther and i are having fun hanging out and unleashing our creativity! haha..
