生病了啦！很不舒服。在家休息了3天。好想出去走走。
很想念去年的圣诞节。
今年就要接近尾声了，而我似乎有很多遗憾。很多得做的事没做，而不该做或说的却无意中做了。人们常说‘光阴似箭，日月如梭”，的确是真的。今年过得很快，在我还没来得及反应，就过去了。如果时光可以倒流，我希望可以至少回到11月。
当然今年也有好的事物。如可以认识saula, aaron, christine, honglay, jason oon, sis grace, 和好多好多其他人。今年最庆幸的，除了可以在NIE就读和有一个很可爱的班，就是和一班好朋友去悉尼旅行。每当我回想那段光阴，我都不经意地会心一笑。每个早上，我们聚集在餐厅准备三明治，包好分配。因为旅费有限，我们很多时候都得靠双脚从一个地方步行到另一个。有一次，chris 说只要步行10分钟就能到晚餐的地方，可是我们却整整走了45分钟！！而且是在摄氏零下！！ 因为天气不会很热，我们常常会很随意地坐在草地上玩牌、野餐等。好怀念呀！

因为东帝汶之旅，我更熟识了saula。他真的是个很有趣的人。虽然很舍不得，但他又得回去东帝汶侍奉了。我和elvin一定会想死他的！！ =）

Finally more or less done with all the projects on hand. The last one is the children Christmas prog tmr. =) Have been practising with the children for the past few days and i'm really proud of them cos they learned so fast and were so energetic. =) Just hope that tmr, everything will run smoothly and many children will know that Christmas is really all abt Jesus and not santa or candy canes. =)
Anyway, just got back from Timor and i'm a lot darker. =) Enjoyed myself lots doing the four children prog and the rock concert. One of the prog was even on an island of which i travelled over in a sampan for 3hrs!


Of course, elvin and i were just so happy to be back in the place where we met. =) This is also one trip that so many adults asked us to get married! Elvin's uncles also pushed us to get married next year. haha.. funny how they are more excited for us than we are for ourselves. Actually, i think same same la. =) It's expensive to get married in Spore! haha.. =)

I'll share more abt the trip next day la.. now all i need is a really good rest after 25th~! so so so tired.. =(

Oh ya! I got a new phone! K750i. It's really a VERY COOL phone. =)

Although i'm really tired and sleepy now, i still wanna blog! Really enjoyed myself thoroughly today.. Never knew birthday can be this fun! =) So, today is my 20th birthday. the BIG "2". haha.. =)
Started off the day with coaching which was definitely a very good experience cos today we had a friendly match with AMK and they are good. Lost quite badly but i think it was due to that my girls are too scared of them. hai.. gotta work on that sia.. =)
After that went to Settler's cafe to meet my classmates. It's quite a cool place with lotsa cool games like boardgames or cards which are not those common types. The waiters were also very nice as in they'll recommend different games and teach us how to play them. However, what we enjoyed most was still our own game- Name game! We were screaming and shouting so loudly la. U should see how joyce, xiao wei and arrisa screams. i was nearly deaf la!! =)

However, what made the day really special and memorable was the surprise elvin planned! =) He told me we are just gonna eat at NYDC alone. just two of us. BUT i sorta expected him to secretly invite pple cos it's kinda obvious la.. =) So i went in and saw Ruixiong, Ren Min, weiling, joash, joel, joy, wilson, wendy, jidi, esther foong and my sis. This part still within my guessing. then i was sitting there chatting with them when SUDDENLY, i looked up and saw ALL my classmates walked in!! Man.. I was so SHOCKED. These pple ah still put up a show to trick me la!! asking each other where they'll be going then ask me to leave first cos different routes. haha.. =) So when they walked in, i was really surprised and happy. =)So we had fun just eating and talking. =)

The black book is actually a notebook made by esther foong.. I was nearly moved to tears as i read it.. Other than birthday greetings in the front few pages, she made sections to the book like prayer pleases, testimonies, my 12, fever, rheme, walking with Jesus. I was touched cos it is rare of pple to be so concern abt one's spiritual growth and excitment and concern shown towards a friend's growth in the Lord and I'm definitely one very blessed person to have esther as a convenant friend. =)

Alright.. yesterday marked my FINAL presentation for this semester and u have no idea how happy i am. It has been so torturous attending THIS morning lect. It starts at stinking 8.30am BUT u better be there early cos if not the lecturer will give u a good long stare to make u really guilty ALTHOUGH u reached at 8.20am. Ask any uni student, WHO ACTUALLY COMES ON TIME FOR SUCH AN EARLY LECT?! but my tutorial group did. Just cos she marks attendance ONLY at the beginning of lect. Not there, u're DEAD. To make things WORSE, this is a 3-HOURS lect. I dunno where she finds her energy to talk THAT long(at least 50yrs old) but she gives NO break. So u dun get to get a breather AT ALL. But the worse part is still: SHE REPEATS THE EXAMPLES, STORIES, JOKES WEEK AFTER WEEK. and SHE CAME UP WITH THIS VOTING SYSTEM OF WHICH U CAN GIVE UR GROUPMATES A FAILING GRADE IF HE/SHE CONTRIBUTES THE LEAST. hai.. just so glad it's OVER. =)
Anyway, just have to finish one last 3000 word essay then i can start studying for exams le. =)

Went out with elvin yesterday after a long while cos both of us are either busy with sch or ministry. Didn't do much. We went to pick up my A'levels cert at SA (dun ask me only NOW then i collect it.) and had a drink with joel in sch. This boy is REALLY studying and i'm really glad for him. Showed him my cert and told him that's the result if he doesn;t work hard enough. heh. =) Then we headed down to ChinaSquare to fix my oakley and to have lunch. Man.. the pork rib curry is STINKING good. =) Elvin had fish curry though. equally delicious. =) Then we head back to WM to meet the youths to watch FLIGHT PLAN. it is a really nice show. worth watching. =)

Talking abt elvin, i'm still thankful that God sent him into my life.. One and a half year already. So fast.. Joash was saying it only felt like a few mths. haha.. cos nothing changed. =) Whenever I'm happy, I just wanna share with him. Whenever i'm down, he's always there. Every night when we pray together, it just totally brought us closer together. I enjoyed the part when we pray for the youths the most.. We were brought together by God with the same passion for youths. Dunno how to explain how good it feels when u know clearly that ur future is confirmed and ordained by God specially and even who will be in that future. It always makes us excited all over again when we talked abt how we can do this or that in the ministry or for the youths individually. =) All I can say is.. there's really no hurry to get into a relationship unless God is the one choosing for u. It's definitely the BEST. Confirmed plus stamped. Elvin is the BEST. hehe.. (puke all u want but u know he's the best. =) Who sacrifices at being laughed at when the preacher needed a demonstrator? Who is the one who never say "no" when pple need help? Who totally doesn't care abt looking stupid or not being able to be the high-class undergrad image that many portray, just so the youths will feel comfortable or that the preacher will not feel embarrassed? Who likes to do weird games before edge and get blamed at after? Come on.. I'm not even sure if i could.. but i think i'm doing it more often now.. Elvin's influence i guess. haha.. =) )

All in all i'm just THANKFUL. Thank you, God..

Yoohoo! =) Definitely had a fun time yesterday. Went for Jocelyn's 21st bday party at some poshy 64th storey bar in republic plaza. =) Dress code was formal so it was really fun to dress up. haha.. Credits to Esther Foong for kindly lending me her clothes cos it was too rush for me to get anything cos party slipped my mind as i was busy with sch work.. =( As the bar only admits 18years old and above and the dress code has to be formal, people who were there last night were the old pple from our youth ministry. haha.. FINE, including myself. =)

These two weeks were really hectic for me.. Other than to prepare for 2 presentations and an extra long essay!! Also an emotion roller coaster. =(
However, really saw God's hand of protection, embracement of encouragement and love. =)I guess it's always when we really run out of ideas or solutions or are desperate then we get closer to God.. But the thing is, is there a need to go through all that? What i've learnt AGAIN(hai..) is that God is really our only source of comfort and strength.. He REALLY never fails.. =)
Anyhow, just wanna update on JOASH's BIRTHDAY! haha.. I went out to meet some of the youths at WM halfway through my essay. =P here goes..

this poem is written by poet, 闻一多. He wrote this after his 4yr old daughter died of sickness.
This is one of few poems that really touched me. Since my major is Chinese lit, I have to read lotsa poems and majority of them are just trying so hard to impress pple with their language and forcing pple to be touched. However, this simple poem just come across so mild and gentle but with such strong emotional impact. I dunno those eng lit's term and i think typing my analysis in Chinese is not gonna help u guys understand. haha.. Anyway, do read it aloud and understand this father's heart. =)

Really tired today but I enjoyed myself thoroughly! =) TOTALLY!! EXTREMELY! haha.. Went for an outdoor movie with elvin at the Starlight cinema (the padang). This is our second time! 1st was at Fort Canning. Thank God for good weather! =) Anyhow, I have to say... INITIAL D is such a nice show! love all the racing scenes. =) And sorry elvin but i've to say it AGAIN : Edison Chen is so HANDSOME! =) haha.. totally gaga-fied again like when i watched Infernal Affairs. haha..
Frankly, I like Fort canning better cos the screen is at the bottom of a gentle slope so won't get blocked so easily.. but padang is more accessible and nice buildings around! =)

My family went for Terry Fox run and this is our 5th yr!! It rained heavily in the morning and we were really contemplating whether to go.. However, glad we went cos we really had lotsa fun! other than the run, we went to visit come places at sentosa too. Even let my cousin bro play in the sea.. He loves the sea! i mean.. he's only 5yrs old la.. =)

Just a lil on my coaching.. It feels really good to be doing what I like and enjoy.. Those were the days when I was the one being trained and tortured! Now I torture them! muahaha.. no la.. I'm actually kinda nice. OTHER THAN all the sadistic physical training of course.. =P My girls are not too bad.. just not aggressive enough which I've been forcing them too. Punished them a lot if they dun. Trying to arrange some friendly games after their exams..
I'mm actually VERY thankful for this coaching job.. Cos it sorta bridged ade and I again! netball has nv failed to keep our team together.. so ade and i actually chatted on the phone and met to talk abt coaching stuff.. Thank God for all these opportunities.. =)

This week has been a really busy week.. =( So tired!
Other than really busy in sch i.e. preparation for the Mid-Autumn Festival, the actual event, studying, doing projects, etc. Even went NUS Chinese Lib on friday to find some lit resources.. No choice la.. NIE and NTU lib very minimal.. =( Anyhow, managed to meet up with Ade too! haha.. really miss her sia.. though we only had abt 1hr to chat, it definitely was enjoyable! =) RV days, netball, boyfriends, future, studies, etc. =) Wanna arrange to meet up with more pple since this is my sch hols or maybe should be known as Makeup lesson wk. blah.
When school reopens, what welcomes me will be TWO test and TWO presentation. sianz..
Oh oh!! nearly forgot to mention! our class threw a bday celebration for our classmate, huiqi! She's two yrs my senior in RV. She's a couragous girl sia. Studied in NTU for a yr, realised it's not where she wanna be, worked for a yr, came to NIE. =)

PRAYERS WORKS!
Have been praying for a job or rather, for finance cos of Fever 100 trip this yr end. And God is SO SO SO faithful! =) He gave me THREE jobs! wolala! =) haha..
Tmr starting one.. Netball coaching in Woodlands Ring Secondary Sch. Dun think there's any Region A youths there. Okok.. dun faint! I'm still GOOD k! haha.. met up with other coaching friends and they helped me lots! First time for me, so kinda blur here and there. but no doubt, this is gonna be a fun job! Good paying too! =)
Second is a Adult conversational course that NUH offered. They want their Indian Physio Therapist to be able to speak basic Mandarin cos many of their patients are Chinese. =) Heh..
Lastly, a Chinese tuition job for a P5 kid. =)
Although so far only the coaching is confirmed and i'm starting TOMORROW, I really saw God's hand of blessing. =)

好累啊！！ 昨天竟然从9am 到6：30pm 一直待在学校里。然后再继续赶到Yishun至9点多。回到家又立刻赶功课。okok.. 我承认我再做完功课后，又看电视la.=)
真的越来越担心自己是否可以应付越来越繁重的课业.. 毕竟现在已正式接任在CLEAR club 的职务，对于接踵而至的活动与会议，我的心情是即兴奋又紧张。不知道啦！只有多多祷告，祈求上帝给我力量和懂得安排时间的智慧。 =）
对了！我可能有机会一所中学担任英式女篮教练！哈哈.. 还不能透露校名啦。=）真的要感谢主。因为我正在愁今年的FEVER100的费用该怎么办，上帝便给了我这个open door! =) Prayers work!
好了，我得去上课了。用汉语拼音打字还真难！！！ practice makes perfect then! =)

Chris is gone. BUT this guy is smart enough to email us constantly. hehe.. maybe cos he hasn't got much to do YET. Wait till he join this club join that club then sure busy again. What to do, our Chris so smart. haha.. =) And nice too! (judging at the turn up at his departure. More than mission teams leaving la!) haha.. maybe cos it's a saturday and the timing is quite alright. =)


Anyway, elvin is officially at region E from Sunday onwards. From what I heard, region E pple are nice! Thank God for pple like celine, clement, eliz, joyce, etc who were so helpful and I'm sure elvin is excited for the region too! =)

Frankly, I'm very happy for elvin. This is really a great opportunity for him. In God's timing and plan, of course. Although initially, i was rather sad as I'd really love to serve with him and together witness each other's ministry grow, first hand. DEFINITELY not because region E only have female leaders! haha.. =P But God has His plans and after praying, we're getting real excited to what is to come. =)

Oh ya, you'll nv guess who i had dinner with last night. By right suppose to eat with Ps Israel and Ps Jose who are from East Timor but realised Ps Antwonio's wife is Ps Israel's aunt so all of us ate together. We went to eat prata at gombak la.. =) Man.. It sure was fun!! Ps Israel, Ps Antwonio and his wife are so cool! We were like singing "God is so good" in different languages like African, Portuguese, Tetum, Hokkien, etc. Then he challenged us to singing a tune using our tongue!! Elvin cannot do it after very long and des was better! In the end, we (sheena, des, elvin and i) decided to foot the bill.. When do u get a chance like this to bless God's servant?! must grab it! =)

Yoohoo!! my first blog entry using my new laptop!! muahaha.. man.. it has been a long wait and i'm so so happy that i finally got it. =)

Anyway, yesterday was really a great day. Not only i got my laptop, elvin gave me flowers!! haha.. no occasion. Just surprise loh.. Really happy. =)

Also, i went to esther's house to set up my laptop then chatted with auntie Jenny and esther. It was rather pleasant i guess.. Praise God for the improvements.. =) Auntie Jenny was like saying i have to be supportive of elvin when he goes over to Region E. Keep him in prayers and trust him. =) haha.. cos region E is mainly made up of female youths. haha.. =P But anyhow, i really am very happy for elvin.. It's such a great opportunity for him and it's really in God's timing and plan.. =)
Oh ya! so after that we watched project superstar together and had a very good laugh. heh.. =) And all these happened without elvin around! =)
After that we went to meet Chris and Jason for a drink. heh.. have been hanging out with them really often. Wednesday we went Dan Ryan's for dinner then headed to BTP to play pool. haha.. it surely was fun!!!!! We played 9balls and i actually won jason and Chris!! muahaha.. not cos i'm good it's just because they didn't hit in the last ball and i didn't hit in any balls before that. haha.. Elvin even won Darryl! we just laughed like mad la.
Funniest was when we switched to everyone playing together, each taking 3 balls and have to eliminate others by hitting theirs. we were luring each other to hit others' and i was begging everyone to not hit mine! haha.. After that i went home while the others went to bowl and elvin only reached home at 7am! =)
Anyhow, all these hanging out with Chris is NOT satisfying enough for us because he is leaving TMR! can't stand the idea or even the thought of it.. But it's reality.. it's just tmr. TMR. TOMORROW. T.O.M.O.R.R.O.W. -SOB-

I've been in school since 9am and still here at 6pm!! CLEAR club meeting at 6:30pm when i ended sch at 2:30pm.
Anyway, it's a day full of International Phonetic Alphebets, IPA in short. First was the Chinese version then the English version. Frankly, though they are supposed to be the same, they are disgustingly DIFFERENT. man.. i spent the last one and a half hour in the lib cafe solving them.. gonna be tested on how to translate hanyu pinyin to that too.. Just have to practice more i guess..
Have been trying to get more on track with stuff and spending more time revising. Guess today was rather successful. heh.. My sis say i should stop hanging out with elvin cos he's a bad influence. haha.. only one reason why. That's because he's too SMART! haha.. elvin doesn't need to mug like normal pple cos he's really fast in understanding and absorbing information. Seriously, before i enter uni, just judging by what i observe of elvin (also a uni student), I REALLY thought it's gonna be easy with lotsa free time to hang out or do my own things. BUT it's NOT true. Maybe it's just NIE. EVERYONE here mug because with straight C+, you'll get a warning letter. 3 warning letters, you are outta here. AND it's considered your fault cos yoy didn't study so you pay them the liquidity damages which is abt S$100k. So everyone is freaking out. To get a third class honours, you already have to get stinking Bs. Let alone a first class or second upper. Only one thing to say and that is I HAVE BEEN DECEIVED!
Back with the unfinished post, yup, I cannot stand the thought that Chris IS leaving. Elvin and I were chatting that day and he said he'll definitely cry when Chris leaves.. I think i would too.. Esp when that day, I showed John the Sydney photos.. Man.. those were the best days of my life! =) The best company I've ever had on a trip. (for the record, suckiest was TURKEY) Meeting Chris with elvin and Jason tmr and I sure hope he can suddenly say "I'm not going anymore!" haha.. kinda impossible though. =)
Think it's time for me to go. 6.10pm. Haven't crapped the entire day.
Oh ya, mum's going israel tmr. Man.. i also wanna go!!!! So cool to see and experience the places in the bible.. But too many trips i wanna go but no cash. haha.. Dad just ask if i wanna go China in Oct. Hopefully there's a break. lalala.. =)

John is back. =)Heh.. it was his birthday yesterday and i'm so glad we were able to celebrate for him. i love celebrating birthday for my love ones. This month i celebrated for sis, esther foong and john. =) Next one will be in Sept which is my elder bro's bday. heh.. cool!! =)
Oh ya! talking abt birthdays. I just realised wei siang is the second one in our region which has the same birthdate as me!! haha.. sheena is 23rd Nov also!! =)
Daniel has left for Canada already.. He was a great net member. friendly, open, nice, funny, etc. =) I'm so gonna miss him!! sob.. I really dislike parting.. AND
Chris is also leaving next week.. i just cannot bear the idea that he won't be around. He has been a blessing. Elvin and i really love him lots!! =)

Haven't blog for really long!! Just a brief update. I'm currently in NIE (thank God) and is offered Chinese specialisation as a major. Very miraculous and I am really thankful to God for all these. =)
Man.. I'm so full right now. Ate buffet with joel, joash, elvin and esther just now. No more these sorta things! fats... accumulate... Then we went to shop around the guys' clothes for banquet tonight. Good la.. I really love them. Joel, des, joash, esther, sheena, QX and many more..
Now that wilson is back with wendy and in our region's youth ministry, i'm really excited to see more changes as we unite and bring youth ministry to a higher level. I really think we are very well equipped. Colleen is very good with administrative matters, sheena is talented with Drama, many are very good with communicating, charasmatic and inclusive like QX and weiling. Fabian, joel and joash can come up with great ideas for activities! With Elvin and Wilson, I believe it will be a season of change!! =)

Results are out. though not fantastic, i'm contented with it. It's really God's grace. =) Applied for NUS Business and NIE. Really hope i can get into NIE... Do keep me in prayers eh? =)

Went Turkey for holidays two weeks ago. ALONE but with a tour group.. Frankly, it's really better to go with friends or family.. It was such a boring trip.. It's a tour group full of tai tais.. The way they shopped and force the tour guide to bring us to more places and bazaars to shop was really an eye opener. One leather jacket priced from US$800-US$2000. Cannot take it.

But i'll have to say God really showed favour.. The aunties really think highly of Christians although they are very devoted buddhist.. They keep saying that Christians are very li hai and very nice and compassionate pple.. cos Christian always have their ways to talk drug addicts, gamblers or those whom the society has given up to turn back and be good.. And i've got aunties visiting my room to chat with me about parenting and how they should handle their children till late night.. i became a parenting counsellor. Reason being they heard that i taught before and Christians are good at counselling.. but thank God la. =)

Celebrated Jason Oon's birthday after edge. He was so happy! it was a surprise party and there was near 50pple. However, i'll have to say Jason really quite blur.. there were so many times we nearly gave it away like when distributing invitation or coordinating the youths to act or write the card. BUT, like elvin said, he has never seen jason smiled so happily before.. I'm happy for him too!! Glad that I was able to contribute a lil to my Net Leader's birthday. =)

Everyone, i'm very broke!! gonna be eating air soon.. so if u guys wanna invite anyone for food, pls always remember elvin and i. Pls dun be too enthusiastic about helping us slim down.. Feed us... heh. =)

Ok, i'm back. At the request of Joyce! grr... hahha.. no la. The only reason why i'm here blogger at 9:53am is because, i'm at home and why am i at home when i should be working, you ask, it's because i've QUITTED my job! muahaha... You have no idea how relieved and happy i am... =)

Anyhow, this whole month of intensive work is definitely a great experience.. No i'd say teachers have NO LIFE! Wake up early to go to school, work and teach your butt off until 5:30pm, can't even have appetite for dinner then once u're home, you shart reading and preparing the next day's lesson. Basically, it is a 24hrs job cos my sis say the content of my sleeptalk was actually phrases like, "Do you understand?" hahaha..

The condition of my back also deteriorated cos of constant standing.. So now, i can't bend or turn my body.. Today going for my review. Man.. i have a body of a 40yr old.. =( Some said that shouldn't be that tiring cos have breaks and lesson i dun teach. That's all FALSE! First, we dun have a staff room or a resting place and so during our pathetic 30min break, we're stuck in the classroom i.e have to answer students' questions or chat with them.. Second, we teach WHOLE DAY. 7hrs of constant talking with 1hr lunch break in btw that are normally eaten up by staff meetings or delayed dismissal of class and 15min before next class start, i must start next class. So 15min cut in the beginning and 15min cut before end of break, leaves me with only 30min of lunch break. 10min for food to serve, 20 for gobbling.

Frankly, how to stay in this kinda job? Ok.. though i really love and miss my students... but i invited them for edge this sat. So, do keep them in prayers ya? =)

Anyway, now that i'm free, not really free cos i'll be going back to msia to help mum in her kindergarden and get my driving license.. ok.. I know i have been procrastinating this for real long but since elvin is the king of procrastinators,it's only reasonable that i'm the queen! muahaha... =) Dun worry, i'm determined to get it this time so when u guys come by, i can drive u around. =)

Man... John has been gone for near 1 mth. Really miss him lots. Am glad he's still coping well and most importantly, working hard.. dun chat online too much ah, di!

Visited University of Canberra in Spore. Really interested in their course and their foreign study program is rather good and most importantly, the cert is recognised and even YJC has started their business course for the yr2 students and SP also has affiliation to UC. Credibility wise, ok!!! =)

Ok.. this entry is getting too long. hehe.. BUT this should stay here for quite a long while... =)

I MISS MY BROTHER.

As absurd it may sound, I actually cried the night John left. Everytime if i come home late, i'd definitely expect John to be in his room playing the guitar or in mum's room using the computer. Today, I realised these things will nv happened again at least for the following 3mths.. Then even if next time, it's just different le.. He has only one identity, i.e Malaysian. No more Singapore PR which allows him to be in and out of spore as he wishes. Ok, maybe not THAT serious but there's only one point i wanna make here and that is, I MISS JOHN!!! sob...

No more jamming at nights, or him telling me his probs and heartaches, or even his complains abt school or the Mr John Tan from his sch who also plays guitar but not as handsome (no offence), or him waking me up to ask if what he's wearing today is appropriate or nice, no more shopping for him, no more hanging out in church with him, or even him holding my hand or putting his arm on my shoulders or simply helping carry my bag when it's too heavy. He just left LIKE THIS!!

Frankly, i dun mind joining him in Taylors since they've very good business degree courses. ok.. shan't say all these since results aren't out. Anyhow, i'm prepared for nearly all scenarios la. =)

kk.. getting real late and this whole week has been tiring and tiring. Teaching from 9am to 5:30pm straight with only 30min break, 1hr lunch, 30min break in between. The most irritating part is after i get home, i still have to prepare for next day's lessons.. So technically, my job is actually 24hrs like John said. Man.. JOHN!!! k.. sound like some lunatic.
