November was a really eventful month. Exams, 180, 21st bday party, graduation, etc. Dec will be more concentrated on coaching as January and February will be my students' tournament. Kanjiong sia! =)

Exam was quite ok. God really blessed! there's this Chinese Lit module that we'll be tested on 29 lit texts' translations and appreciations. Of which only 6 will be chosen to be tested. And the lecturer didn't teach anything on that! We had to research ourselves and some texts were hard cos they're not common and no one wrote reviews on them. I really struggled and was even having asthma the day before but I prayed and I studied what I could. I finished only about 19 or less texts. I told God to settle it for me. Guess what! the 10 texts that i didn't study, didn't come out at all! muahaha.. =) I told my frens my God will take care of us before we went in for that paper. And because of what God did, which they saw with their own eyes, they were more open to my invitation to 180! 3 came for 180! =)

my 21st bday party was fun! though something happened after was rather confusing and disturbing, it was a success on a whole. Many thanks to all who helped and celebrate me entering adulthood with me. I'm still exploring a new software to load pictures more effeciently. Last Sat was my mum's childcare's graduation. I was the emcee with dorothy. Quite a fun experience. =) After which I went back KT with family, kris, lily and jidi. Ate and ate and ate and ate and ate and ate. Goodness.. Luckily now I can't eat cos of two wisdom teeth surgery. =) We ate fish head curry in JB on Sat. Sunday morning, ate very nice dry noodles with laksa soup before going for church. THEN, it's the lobster feast! very expensive but really nice..

Man.. exams suck cos u end up eating at all the weird timings and u dun have time to exercise and u also dun dare to exercise cos it'll make u too tired. So, u just keep getting fatter and fatter! Save me, Lord!!

Anyway, I finally finished all the essays for this semester! I think I did about 12 essays. Can u believe it? I can't. Ask any arts students in NUS or NTU, i'm sure they won't believe it either. BUT I seriously did that many. With the last exceeding 2500 CHINESE words! So far the most words I wrote for an essay is 8000 for my children literature essay last sem. I should frame it up sia. =)

Wasted today going facial with esther foong then finding a prom dress with her. haha.. but it sure was fun la. =) hehe.. At the expense of us revising for exams!! haha.. Lucky esther is having her LAST A'level paper tmr while I still have THREE more next wk! she has been making fun of me cos she'll be having holidays earlier than me BUT i always win when I say "At least i'm in university le. muahaha!" that really pisses her everytime. hahaha.. =)

I really need to revise for my papers sia. I wanna do well. hehe.. =)

Ok.. I have a paper tmr and i haven't really finished studying. Frankly, i'm too distracted by my bday party preparation. =) However, i'm really having lotsa fun planning it! =) Although changed venue and date so many times, now everything is finally confirmed. It's gonna be banquet-style buffet with western food served. Dress code is Shiny Bling. and xiaowei is so excited about winning the best-dressed! haha.. peiyi and jinquan even went to shop for bling bling stuff! haha.. joash also borrowed chains from friend. Can't wait to see everyone dressed up! Now confirming everyone's attendance so I can confirm catering. =) The door gifts are so unique also! man.. so exciting!!

Really appreciate many pple's help. Like my family, elvin, the youths, jamie, Ps Jeremy, etc. They are so nice!!

Have been so busy with so many things recently.. but i'm glad everything has been still good. Dunno how but God is really GOOD.. =)

Frankly, i think i dunno how to blog le. haha.. i looked at the page for so long and i dunno what to write!

Anyway the couple in our class of 11 pple quarrelled today.. and i was the he shi lao! haha.. recently, through chats with jo, listening to peiyi and jinquan's BGR probs, different pple's views on their relationships and the other half, I felt so blessed.. And a lil guilty for those instances when i complained about elvin. To elvin himself. =( I must learn to be more appreciative.. Elvin is really a nice guy. So much so Jason Tan and Weisiang love him so much! haha.. My love rivals are actually guys. haha.. =) Nonetheless, I think being in a relationship with elvin really taught me a lot of things.. ironing out differences, finding time for each other, maintaining the relationship without having much time to ourselves since we spent most of our time in church with our cute youths (Ok, charis, you're cuter than jadon!), planning for a future, how to grow in the Lord together and as individuals, etc. But so far, I'm enjoying every single moment of this relationship. =) Seriously, when it's God-sent, sure can work out everything and be happily everafter. =)

Although Matt say the way elvin and I are together "tempts" him to want to get into a BGR (he asked me how couples can chat on the phone for 1hr and I did a breakdown of the topics in reference to time.), do wait and listen to God's directions. It's worth it. =)

Ok, I think i need to learn how to blog again.

OH YA! Planning my 21st bday is FUN! door gifts are more or less ready. Just waiting for venue to be confirmed. It's gonna be the best party ever. muahaha.. =) So EXCITING!

A youth's tears on Sunday touched my heart.
I never knew I could be an impact.
I never knew the youths love me that much.
I never knew I'd be noticed if I'm not in service or activities.
I dun even know when I became the information centre for church's stuff.
I never knew a hug, a pat on the shoulder or a small note can make such a difference.
All I knew was I need to be at services and activities cos that's what God likes and i like it too. =)
All I knew was everyone loves to be appreciated and just like I love it, I do it too.
All I knew was every single one of the youths are precious to me.
All I knew was I want to see each one of them mature beautifully in the Lord, grow up, graduate, get married, continue to care even for their children.
I dream of when elvin and I are 70years old and still in the youth.
As I typed, I teared.
God said this is my ministry.
For LIFE.
Lost confidence recently but her tears showed that what I have done in the youth ministry, which to me is my duty n i hold great priority, was important to her.
Her tears told me.
His concern showed me.
Her prayers warm my heart.
Every single one of them are like my younger siblings.
Love every single one of them.

Day 3: Going back to Kota Tinggi

No more petrol!! we were so worried we'll be stranded somewhere in the jungle~! haha.. thank God after it hit ZERO, we reached the Kiosk. =)

dunno what's wrong with my laptop.. hai.. Really need to send it for repair.. =(

Anyway, my contract with W.o.o.d.l.a.n.d.s R.i.n.g S.e.c. has ended. Really gonna miss them so much.. Last two weeks i sent so much time with them, going for competition together, trainings, striving to win,... Seriously, if one asks me what is the most important thing I taught them this near one year, I would say, mental strength. Of course I taught them basics, strategies, runs, court work, etc BUT what touches me the most is how they improved in their mental strength.. From easily giving up if losing in first quarter until now, even if it's the LAST 2 min, they never gave up! That's how we got our wins with PLMGS draw-down1-draw-win2 or temasek sec when it was draw-draw-draw-win3. it's the fighting spirit, the never-say-die attitude. I was taught when I was a player to play each match with a no regrets attitude.. As long as we played our best, even if we lost, we can come out of the court with no regrets and pride. =) I taught them the same thing.. and we came a long way from a nothing school since the school started years back until now when we got THIRD in the second tier school challenge..
I'm very proud of them.. Surely gonna miss them so much.. At least I left the school leaving not just the first medal in their netball history but an attitude that will follow them for life..

Have been such a long while since i blogged. Very busy and tiring. As every uni student would know, this is the peak period which presentations and essays are due. For me, I've worked till 1-3am for a few times just trying to finish everything before deadline. Now, two more to go! One of which is due tmr morning. Haha.. dead. =)

Although we are bored in class, we do silly stuff and this is what suping did to the children cancer ribbon.




Anyhow, still coaching and giving tuition. Very glad that my netball girls are improving not just on the technical side but mentally. The game that we played on monday was a tough one but they held on and pushed themselves and really had the desire to win. Stronger mentally now. I'm contented that with my contract ending in April, I am able to see them come to this stage and this mental strength can follow them in other things they do. Thank God for helping me with them all these while. =)

Have been spending quite some time with esther recently and I really liked it! =) All the times we chatted, shared about what God has done, how good He is, what we can do for Him, etc, lift my spirit up! It is really important to have Christian friends to share and they can be fun to hang out with! haha.. at least i think esther has never really bored me before! haha.. Though uncle William said she's crazy. (I think maybe the other way round more true..haha.. =))
Last night, esther, wendy and i went to coffeebean to eat and chat! though it was nearly for near 2hrs, it was really enjoyable.. It has been so long since I get to sit down, relax, hang out and chill.. Busy schedule shall not consume me!! grr.. =) Then Wilson and elvin joined us. Also fun! =)
Elvin has a cat now!! His name is jack jack. He is reaaaaally cute. only 3mths old. This is the second wk since we brought it back from S-P-C-A. We had net at elvin's place last wk and everyone liked it! =) Qian Hui even requested to have net at elvin's again cos she misses jack jack! haha... It's really different to have a cat in the house. Each time I visit, I can just cuddle it on my lap while i watch tv or read my notes. Even when I cooked in the kitchen, it will just walk between my legs or rub its face on my ankle. Super cute.. =)

I'm in NUS Chinese library now. I'm so sleepy! =( It is really hard to understand those dusty language discussion books. Seriously, I'm totally clueless as to how to write this 3000word chinese essay. It is about 从修辞角度探讨欧化。Frankly, what is it? Struggling so much.. not much resources also.. =(

Really need God's help...

Anyway, have been really busy and exhausted but i'm enjoying it! I'm really glad to be in the planning committee for the youth centre.. It is a great thing to serve the Lord.. Although we have to do a lot of things (even spring cleaning!) like tend booths, make posters, proposals, I'm VERY happy! Angie or BOSSALINA has been a committed leader. Admire her efficiency and her heart for the youths and our centre. I surely enjoy "dreaming" with her. It is the season for our youths. So excited!

As for our region, we played basketball ytd and it was fun! Got to know more 13yr olds. They are really cute! hahaha.. I like Jadon esp. =) HAhaha.. Charis! tell ur brother! hahaha.. =)
This one year I really got to know many passionate pple, Matt Wee, Jonathan, Fabian, Wilson, Sheena, Elvin, etc.. A heart to want to see our region grow healthily and leading by example. =) Not forgetting my lovely net members, eden, weisiang, dorothy, jocelyn, rachel, qian hui, min lun, jason tan, rhoda, who also faithfully attend activities, serve and at service. Praise God for favour and that they are open and teachable. Like I always say, prayer WORKS. =)

Anyway, just thought of youth camp 2003. The region's dynamic was so mind-blowing and we were so united. This year is the year sia! =) Region F having our own youth camp. We tabulated our list of pple, we have 91 youths~! KOME ON!
